Event Details

This concert is a passion project created and presented by Kirsty Huth, a student currently completing her final year in the Bachelor of Music. The purpose is to spread awareness of mental health issues and advocate for finding help when it is needed. This event will also be supporting the local organisation “Headspace”: an organisation that provides accessible and affordable help to children and young adults between the ages of 12 & 25, in the Toowoomba community. There will be donation buckets available in the foyer at the concert, as well as links to places you can donate online.

Led by Kirsty, the band is made up of five other musicians; Josh Griffin, Jesse Huth, Gene Clarke, Niamh Stevens and Clinton Payton. The concert will run for approximately 90-minutes and features some well-known songs as well as some lesser known tunes, all supporting the overall theme of Empowerment. Artists you may recognise throughout the concert include Elton John, John Farnham, The Beatles and Sara Bareilles.

It will be a fun evening, so come along, leave your worries at the door and enjoy.
