2021 signals a new chapter for the School of Creative Arts as we launch seven brand new undergraduate degree programs!  While some universities are actively closing down or winding back their creative arts degree offerings, we are growing ours. The University of Southern Queensland understands how vital creativity is in the community and how important it is to have opportunities for people to develop their creative practice and follow their passions.

This year sees the first year delivery of the following degrees: Bachelor of Creative Arts and Community Wellbeing; Bachelor of Design and Interactive Technologies; Bachelor of Film and Screen Production; Bachelor of Music; Bachelor of Television and Radio Production; Bachelor of Theatre; and the Bachelor of Visual Art.  We also continue our Bachelor of Creative Arts (Honours) degree program which enables a fourth year of concentrated practice/research working on an independent project stemming from any of the disciplines listed above.

2021 also sees our industry-focused postgraduate degrees, Master of Editing and Publishing and Doctor of Creative Arts, on offer for those who wish to further specialise in their chosen fields.

Welcome to 2021 – it is going to be a big year!
